Perhaps you’ve heard of the dreaded sleep regression. Or maybe you’ve heard, “Sleep regressions are a myth!” & it makes you so angry because you know better. You’re living through it & you’re exhausted.

A sleep regression is simply when your child’s sleep pattern changes, usually for the worse. It’s not related to being sick or teething, and you can’t see a real “reason” for the change.

The CDC recommends waiting until at least 6 months to start solids. In addition, studies show that rice cereal actually doesn’t help babies sleep better.

Since you know your baby will be waking you up at night, make sure you go to bed early. If you have an opportunity, it would even be wise to take naps during the day.
